• The Offside rule is NOT in effect.
  • Teams will consist of five field players and one goalkeeper
  • The ball may travel forwards or backwards on the kick off.
  • No slide tackles
  • If any part of your body is in contact with the turf other than your feet you cannot intentionally play the ball.
  • All free kicks are direct except out of bounds (hitting the side net, hitting the walls/ceiling of the building, hitting a person out of play, and going off the field of play).  Corner kicks are direct; goal kicks, kick off and injury restarts are indirect
  • All restarts must be played within 5 seconds of the ball being set unless 10 feet is requested.  then the five second count starts from the whistle.
  • Encroachment - players standing within 10 feet of the ball on a free kick or keeper distribution (if the player is inside the goal box) must not move to play the ball.   This would be an encroachment penalty resulting in 2 minutes.
  • Any player standing directly in front of the ball may receive 2 minutes for delay of game
  • If the ball gets jammed between 2 players, the walls, or the nets the referee may award a drop ball.
  • If play is stopped due to injury the ball will be restarted by a drip ball or indirect free kick by the team with possession (referee discretion).  Play will not be stopped until advantage is lost (referee discretion).
  • Minimum number of players to start a game is 4.  Teams with only 4 players are not subject to the three-line violation
  • Three-line violation - If the ball is played over both red lines (attacking direction) in the air without touching a player or wall prior to crossing the second red line a free kick will be awarded from where the ball crossed the defensive red line.
  • Intentionally kicking the ball at the ceiling will result in a 2 minute penalty
  • Out of Bounds - The ball is to be placed on the white perimeter line and played within five seconds
  • Blue Card - 2 minute penalty, the offending team will play down one man until the opposing team scores or 2 minutes elapses from the game clock.  If a goalkeeper receives a blue card any field player may serve the penalty.
  • Yellow Card - a yellow card will result in a full 2 minute penalty regardless of any goals scored.  the offender must serve his own penalty including the goalkeeper.
  • Red Card - Any player receiving a red card is rejected from the game and isuspended for the next game.   Red-carded players may be asked to leave the arena prior to continuation of the game (referee and WIS management discretion).  Players receiving 3, 2 minute penalties, two yellow cards or any combination fo the two will be ejected and subject to a one game suspension.
  • Substitutions are on the fly.  Oncoming player must wait for the exiting player to leave the field.  Extra players on the field may result in a 2 minute penalty.  
  • Home team, listed second on the schedule, must change jerseys in the case of a conflict.
  • Goalkeeper Rules -  Goalkeepers may use their hands only within the penalty area,  The goalkeeper may not use his/her hands when the ball is played back to them from outside the red-line by his own team.   The goalkeeper may not use his hands after bringing the ball into the penalty box himself.  The goalkeeper must release the ball within 5 seconds.   The goalkeeper may only use his hands once per touch by the opposing team.  the goalkeeper must stay on his feet outside the penalty box.   The goalkeeper may not throw the ball directly into the opposing teams net.
  • Penalty kicks will only be awarded for card violations occurring within the penalty box.   All other infractions will result in a kick from the dot outside the penalty box.
  • COED RULES - There is a maximum of 3 guys on the field at any one time.  If a team is short guys they can play with extra girls but if they are short girls they cannot play with extra guys.  If a woman is in the goal a woman must take all free kicks from the redline.
  • MACHO Rule -  The men cannon intimidate the women through physical play or hard shots  (referees discretion).
  • 8 Fouls - The eighth team foul in a half will result in a 2 minute penalty.
  • Spectators - Must refrain from derogatory comments and un-sportsmanlike remarks
